Scholastic Teen Arts and Writing Exhibition

February 7 – March 15, 2025

The DeVos Art Museum is currently featuring award-winning entries for the Scholastic Teen Art and Writing for the Upper Peninsula region. There were sixty-one visual art entries with ten award winners and fifty-two writing entries with twenty-one award winners. The exhibition honors creative teens and their teachers across our rural and remote peninsula and demonstrates the importance of art for people of all ages.

Northern Michigan University will host an exhibit in the DeVos Art Museum from February 7-March 15th to celebrate this year’s regional award winners. The Upper Peninsula ceremony will be on Saturday, March 15th, from 2-4 pm in the School of Art and Design on the NMU campus. All award-winning teens, their teachers, their families, and their friends are invited to attend. The teachers of the award-winning teens will be honored with a Scholastic educator pin at the ceremony.
